{"id":306,"date":"2014-02-15T14:06:55","date_gmt":"2014-02-15T14:06:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zacharybaiel.com\/blog\/?p=306"},"modified":"2014-02-15T14:06:55","modified_gmt":"2014-02-15T14:06:55","slug":"unizor-com-and-other-educational-video-sites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zacharybaiel.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/15\/unizor-com-and-other-educational-video-sites\/","title":{"rendered":"Unizor.com and other Educational Video Sites"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently came across <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unizor.com\/\">Unizor.com<\/a>, an online site that walks through various math concepts of all levels, through the <a href=\"https:\/\/schoolforge.net\">Schoolforge.net<\/a> discussion group.<\/p>\n<p>As stated on the website, the point of Unizor.com is:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Problem solving and proving theorems might sometimes be boring and time consuming, but it makes you SMARTER.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>With this in mind, Zor walks through all sorts of mathematical concepts from the core idea of mathematics, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Nm3l_5ytRJ4\">abstraction<\/a>, to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GU24skhHDD0\">linear functions<\/a>, to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xHqRMd8WFZI\">congruent vectors<\/a>, and much more.<\/p>\n<p>I am always looking for other sites to reference for when people get stuck on certain concepts or want to learn more about a particular topic.<\/p>\n<p>Other online education sites include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.khanacademy.org\">Kahn Academy<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mathtv.com\">Math TV<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/academicearth.org\">Academic Earth<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/teachertube.com\">TeacherTube<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are multitudes more.
